Photo traps placed in mountainous and forested areas in order to control natural life in Afyonkarahisar, while recording many wild animals from wolves to red deer, foxes to imperial eagles, also played an important role in catching poachers.

Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) 5th Regional Directorate placed photo traps in forest areas in Afyonkarahisar to take inventory of wild animals.
Wolves, red deer, black vultures, griffon vultures, foxes, badgers, henna partridges, golden eagles, imperial eagles, white-tailed eagles, wild boars, wild boars and bustards in the countryside were captured by the camera shutters.
In the last year, the images reflected on the drones with camera traps include the daily lives and nutrition of animals.
With photo traps, both the increase and decrease of wildlife are recorded and poaching is prevented.
