The zero point of history: Göbeklitepe | NTV

Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum Director Celal Uludağ stated in a statement that Göbeklitepe is a public space built by hunter and gatherer-style people dating back 12 thousand years.

Highlighting that the most important factor that distinguishes Göbeklitepe from its other examples is that it dates back to 12 thousand years ago, Uludağ said:

“We can consider Göbeklitepe as a very different point from other monumental buildings in this sense, as it dates back to 12 thousand years ago and the stylized human symbols were found. Immovable cultural assets are exhibited on site, and the moved cultural assets are exhibited in the Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum “.
