The wild horses roaming freely in the nature in the Kızılırmak Delta in Samsun present uniquely beautiful images to nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

The Kızılırmak Delta, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, covers an area of ​​56 thousand hectares, located within the borders of 19 May, Bafra and Alaçam districts.
Nearly 300 horses living in colonies in the delta add beauty to nature and offer a visual feast to photographers and visitors who come to visit the area.
Samsun Tourism Association President Dilek Genç said that the delta attracts attention with its wild animals, bird existence, flooded forests, lakes, reeds, water buffaloes, fauna and flora.
Explaining that the wild beauty of the delta, the yamki horses also attract the attention of local and foreign nature lovers and photography enthusiasts, Genç said: “The Kızılırmak Delta, which has been declared a sensitive area to be protected by the Presidency, is of international importance. “Yıldırım horses continue to exist in the Kızılırmak Delta, one of the largest wetlands. Yılkı horses roaming freely in nature present uniquely beautiful images to nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.”
Stating that 55-60 thousand people visit the delta every year, which is beautiful in four seasons, Genç said, “Our guests observe these horses from afar. If they are a little more patient, they have the opportunity to examine them closely. These horses live in groups. Photographers work from morning until sunset.
