The Eastern Express train, which has resumed its flights, which was suspended within the scope of Corona virus (Covid-19) measures, attracts great attention during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The train, which departs from Ankara and follows the route of Kırıkkale, Kayseri, Sivas, Erzincan and Erzurum, reaches its last stop, Kars, after traveling 1310 kilometers.
The Eastern Express, which offers its passengers a unique view of forests, streams, streams and deep canyons, as well as the lands with colorful trees and flowers on the route, organizes reciprocal flights between Kars and Ankara every day.

Aslıhan Bulut, one of the passengers who came to Kars from Ankara, said that she planned to travel with the Eastern Express earlier, but could not do it due to Covid-19. Stating that he came to Kars by having fun with a very nice journey and making new friends, Bulut said, “It was a different and beautiful experience for me. I am originally from Kars, but I have never traveled with the Eastern Express. How long will the journey go?’ I thought. But I met so many good people, we had instant friendships, I am very happy,” he said.
Explaining that they passed through many cities from Ankara to Kars and that they had the opportunity to watch the different beauties of each region from the train, Bulut said, “The journey was very enjoyable, I never got tired. I want to come again in winter, everything was beautiful and very enjoyable.”
Turgut Akaslan, who came from Istanbul, also stated that he loves the train journey and said, “We have been waiting for this for 15 months, it has been very nice. We met valuable people on this beautiful journey. We got information about the region in our conversations here. This information became a light for us when we toured the region. “We are happy to be here,” he said.
