Muço Türkyılmaz, a tourist who lives in the Çat village of Çamlıhemşin district, reflects on his Viking interest in his life. Türkyılmaz, who likened the life of the Vikings to his own after the series he watched, lives with his Viking hat and ax in his head.
Introducing himself as the ‘Viking from Kaçkar’, Türkyılmaz’s interesting clothing style and behavior surprises those who see it.
While the videos she shared attracted attention on social media, Türkyılmaz wears a Viking hat on her head and swims in cold waters with her ax.
Türkyılmaz displays both cultural accessories and pieces depicting Vikings by making a corner in the village house with a close interest to Vikings.
The video prepared by Türkyılmaz, who also made a giant ax, called “The Last Viking”, is watched with interest on the social media where it is shared.
Muço Türkyılmaz explains that the Vikings have no warrior spirit left, “I spent time in these mountains with an ax, cows and goats in my childhood. I worked as a shepherd. After watching the Viking series, I have likened their lives to myself. They also lead a life in harmony with nature. I gathered their belongings and formed a corner. Vikings don’t have a warrior spirit anymore, just what we do is to live without harming nature. “They say crazy, but we have madness in our soul. I call myself Viking from Kaçkar because I live in the village of Çat on the skirts of Kaçkar Mountain. I have a very simple life, I find peace.”
