The 2,800-year-old historical Pertek Castle in Tunceli is dazzling


The castle, which is one of the most important values ​​of Pertek district, hosted the Urartians, Persians, Hellenes, Rome, Seljuks and Mengücek people. The 2,800-year-old castle, which was repaired during the Ottoman period, consists of two walls, and there are ruins of buildings between the walls. There are red hard bricks and blue tiles interspersed between the chipped stones on the southern facade of the castle and the remains of the cistern and building.
