In a written statement from Rospotrebnadzor, “Within the framework of the previous agreements between Russia and Turkey, the Russian delegation will go to Turkey in the middle of the week to evaluate the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) situation.
According to the results of the visit, decisions will be made regarding the resumption of flights and the provision of tourism services.
In the statement, it was stated that the Russian delegation will consist of experts from Rospotrebnadzor and its affiliated scientific institutes, the Russian Federal Tourism Agency (Rosturizm) and the relevant institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
LIMITATION DECISION HAS BEEN MADE
Russia decided to limit normal and charter flights with Turkey from April 15 to June 1, and then extended the said decision until June 21.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on May 17 that the Russian delegation will go to Turkey to evaluate the situation regarding the opening of flights between the two countries and that the tourism centers will be inspected in terms of the security measures they take.
