People from Tunceli flocked to Munzur at 40 degrees Celsius

In Tunceli, where the air temperature reached 40 degrees, citizens flocked to the Munzur River to cool off.

When the temperature reached 40 degrees in Tunceli, which stands out with its natural beauties, the residents of the city and those who returned to their homeland from Turkey and abroad flocked to the Munzur River, which flows through the mountains covered with oak trees, to cool off.
With the effect of the weekend, hundreds of women, children, young and old people entered the river on natural beaches.
Some jumped from a height into the icy water.
Some played volleyball on the beach, others sunbathed on the sun loungers.
Due to those returning to their hometowns from countries such as Germany, France and England, the density on the beaches is increasing day by day. Stating that he came from Paris, the capital of France, to spend his holiday, Doğan Mikail stated that they prefer Tunceli instead of the Aegean and the Mediterranean, “I come every year because I love Tunceli so much. The water and environment are very nice. The Aegean and the Mediterranean are now a familiar place. We prefer this place because it is intertwined with nature.”
Filiz Salduz from Antalya, who stated that she has lived in Tunceli for 14 years, said, “I am from Antalya, I have been living here for 14 years. Because of my job and my wife’s job, we do not always have the opportunity to go on vacation or it is limited. That’s why we come to the Munzur River as much as we can. “It is a magnificent city with its culture, nature and people. We throw ourselves into the Munzur River to cool off. Munzur has ice-cold and sparkling water,” he said.
