Nemrut Mountain, which is located in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List within the borders of Adıyaman, Kahta, at an altitude of 2 thousand 206 meters, started to host its guests after the complete closure within the scope of the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) measures.
Bilal Mente, who is known as the place where the sunrise and sunset are best watched, explained that they started this season dull as part of the Covid-19 measures and that thousands of visitors came to the region after the prohibitions were partially lifted.
Emphasizing that Mount Nemrut is a very beautiful and fascinating place, Mente noted that they are very hopeful for the tourism season this year.
Derviş Yıldırım, who came to visit Mount Nemrut from Istanbul, said, “I have come several times before. I am happy to come here with my family this year,” he said.
Yasin and Fatma Al Çiftçi said that they came from Kayseri to see the gigantic sculptures and that they were in such a high and beautiful environment for the first time, they had a little difficulty while leaving, but they forgot all their fatigue at the summit.
