Erciyas stated that the underground city was completely carved out of rock.
Noting that Gelveri houses were formed with other buildings built in front of him, Erciyas said:
“Our underground city has survived to the present day in its original form. There are many living rooms such as secret passages and tandoori. These places were used by our people until 1950. We transferred its use to visitors after being opened to tourism. The pandemic process affected us. I hope we will increase this number even more in the coming years. We have taken pandemic measures, we have not experienced any difficulties. Our visitors pay attention to the mask and distance rules. We also look at the HES codes of our local visitors. We are waiting for all our local and foreign guests.
