Susurluk district of Balıkesir, which gives a break with geographically marked toast and ayran to those passing by on the Istanbul-Izmir highway, also attracts attention from campers and caravans with its natural beauties.

Famous for its meat, milk, kokorec, toast and ayran, Susurluk hosts nature lovers with its Çaylak Recreation Area and Waterfall, Çobandede Observation Terrace, Çataldağ and thermal springs.
Some members of the Bir Passion Camp and Caravan Association, whose membership has reached 65,000, camped in Çaylak Recreation Area with approximately 100 caravans. The members of the association, who also went for a nature walk in the region, swam in the creek passing through the recreation area. Having fun with the music, the participants enjoyed the camp.
Susurluk Mayor Nurettin Güney said that the district offers its guests many opportunities and is appreciated. Expressing that this interest will add dynamism to Susurluk, Güney said, “We met our guests, they are environmentalist, understanding, they know what it means to contribute. We are very pleased that they came. It is extremely important that such a team prefer Susurluk. Susurluk. “I hope that with this beautiful nature of Susurluk, we will also host tourism activities.”
Association President Hayriye Yıldız also stated that they have activities for tourism and promotion. Stating that they will stay in the region for 4 days, Yıldız said, “We came to promote Susurluk. We reach 1 million people on social media. We used to come to Susurluk all the time when we were passing by, but we did not know about this place, we were invited, we learned it. The nature, air and trees of the region are very beautiful. He is very hospitable, we always think about coming. Campers, tenters, caravans, everyone should come to Susurluk,” he said.
