The Cappadocia-themed restaurant opened in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, offers its customers a Cappadocia experience without ever going to Turkey.

The Cappadocia video projected on the wall with a cinevision in the restaurant, which serves under the name Kapadoccia with a cave concept, makes customers dream of visiting Turkey.
The General Manager of the restaurant, Oliver George, said that he came to Nigeria from Canada 3.5 years ago and liked the capital Abuja very much.
George explained that he had dreamed of opening a restaurant in Nigeria for years and wanted to create something that would stand out.
Emphasizing that he had a lot of difficulty with the concept, George said, “We first thought of a restaurant with a cave concept, we came across Cappadocia by chance while doing research on the internet and we liked it very much.”
Expressing that he always wanted to go to Turkey, George said that when they saw that Cappadocia was in Turkey, they took this opportunity to visit Cappadocia with the architect who designed the restaurant.
Stating that they like Turkey and Cappadocia very much, George said, “We visited Cappadocia and we really liked it, so we decided to do something like this right away.”
George stated that they named the restaurant “Kapadoccia” and exhibited some of the objects they bought from Cappadocia during their visit in the restaurant.
Stating that Turkish dishes are also on the menu, George stated that they serve dishes such as pide, lahmacun, karnıyarık, İskender and Adana kebab.
Emphasizing that they want the customers who come here to feel like they are in Turkey, George said, “We first give cologne to those who come and we offer tea and Turkish delight after the meal.”
Emphasizing that the restaurant was very popular, George said that most of the visitors said they had never seen such a concept before.
Stating that some customers want to go to Cappadocia after they come to the restaurant, George said, “Some people who come here say that they have visited European countries such as France, the Netherlands and the USA, but they have never heard of Cappadocia, and they want to go thanks to this restaurant.”
George said that he aims to send visitors from Nigeria to Turkey in cooperation with Turkish Airlines (THY) in order to contribute to Turkish tourism in the future.
One of the customers, Maryama Shehu, said that she had heard of Turkey but never knew about the existence of a place like Cappadocia. Shehu stated that she dreamed of going to Turkey thanks to this restaurant, and said, “It is a very nice restaurant, if this restaurant is like that, who knows what the real Cappadocia would be like. Sure to see I want.” he said.
