Administrative fines increased in civil aviation


The “Communiqué on Administrative Fines to be Imposed in Accordance with the Turkish Civil Aviation Law No. 2920” of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation was published in the Official Gazette.

In the Communiqué, it was reminded that administrative fines will be increased at the revaluation rate effective from the beginning of each calendar year, and the revaluation rate for 2020 was determined as 9.11 percent.

In this context, it has been stated that those who violate the relevant articles of the Turkish Civil Aviation Law will be imposed administrative fines in amounts ranging from 1731 TL to 34,812 TL this year.

PENALTY OF 2 THOUSAND 841 LIRA FOR PASSENGER SMOKING

According to the “Communiqué Regarding the Reevaluation of Administrative Fines in the Regulation on Administrative Fines to be Imposed by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation”, flying without obtaining permission or filling out the flight plan, giving the aircraft a clear breakdown, accepting cargo from unauthorized organizations In such cases, 18 thousand 943 lira will be fined for aviation businesses.

An administrative fine of 18 thousand 943 lira will be given to pilots who deliberately risk flight safety, and those who use laser or fireworks display without permission, and those who use smoke-emitting devices and products in the aircraft will be given an administrative fine of 2 thousand 841 lira.
