A new one has been added to the ‘sensitive area to be protected’ category in Erzurum


The protected areas in Erzurum are as follows:

“Balıklı Lake (2nd Degree Natural Protected Area) (Center, Aziziye District, Söğütlü Neighborhood)
Cave in Yıldızkaya Village (Natural Protected Area) (In Olur District, Yıldızkaya District)
Büyük and Küçük Çermik (3rd Degree Natural Protected Area) (Pasinler District, Kaplıcalar Mahallesi/Çermiktepe)
Tortum Lake and Waterfall (1st/2nd and 3rd Degree Natural Protected Area) (in Uzundere District)
Palandöken Mountains Qualified Conservation Area (in Erzurum Palandöken District)
Narman Fairy Chimneys Qualified Conservation Area (in Narman District)
Oltu Wildlife Development Area Qualified Conservation Area (in Oltu District)
Burnaz Binpınar Village Pond Qualified Conservation Area and Sustainable Conservation and Controlled Use Area (in Karaçoban District)
Erzurum Geological and Natural Formations Sensitive Area to be Protected (in Hınıs District)
Two chestnut trees (Monumental Tree) in front of Lalapaşa Mosque (Center, Yakutiye District, Lalapaşa Neighborhood)”
