A 400,000-year-old natural wonder in Manisa: Çıngırak Creek

Geopark Municipalities Union Director Yiğit Karakuzu said that Çıngırak Creek is admired with its vegetation, basalt rock caves, fresh water springs and small waterfalls.

Pointing out that the stream is a unique geological area, Karakuzu said, “This place was formed about 400 thousand years ago. The valley formed in the second phase of the volcanic activity in Kula is a candidate to become an important walking route area of ​​the UNESCO Global Geopark of Kula-Salihli.”
